Installation
1. Open up phpmyadmin or similar
2. Copy the paste the
contents of databasedump.txt into phpmyadmin or
select the text file to
create the table and fill it with the questions.
3. Edit
trivia.php
Find this line at the top
@mysql_connect(
"localhost", "USERNAME", "PASSWORD" ) or die(
"Couldn't connect to MySQL server." ); // CONNECT TO DB OR
DIE
@mysql_select_db("DATABASE NAME") or die( "Couldn't
connect to Database" );
here change the "localhost
"USERNAME" "PASSWORD" and "DATABASE
NAME"
to what your details are.
You shouldn't have to edit
anything else in this file.
4. Upload the modified trivia.php to your
webspace
5. Open the page and test it out.
